Sarita Garófalo Sarita is a renowned Paraguayan chef, director and teacher, an ambassador of the new Paraguayan cuisine at a national and international level. Director of the Garófalo Center, she has been awarded the Culinary Medal of the Americas and has created the book “Traditional and Contemporary Paraguayan Cuisine”, chosen among the five best books in the world in 2011. Sarita has promoted Paraguayan gastronomy through television programs and academic courses, inspiring new generations of chefs.
