Rediex's Export Support Directorate participated in the 29th edition of the Agrodinámica fair, which takes place from December 2nd to 6th in Hohenau, Itapúa, accompanying the activities of the Minister of Industry and Commerce, Javier Giménez, and the Vice Minister of Commerce and Services, Rodrigo Maluff, within the framework of the Argentina-Brazil-Paraguay Industrial and Commercial Forum.
The team, comprised of Director Vania Ortega, Senior Export Specialist Jimmy Kim, and Food and Beverage Sector Specialist Gustavo Rodríguez, participated in the opening ceremony alongside national and regional authorities. The Director emphasized that “Agrodinámica is a key space to showcase Paraguay’s productive potential and strengthen regional integration.”.
The ceremony included remarks from President Santiago Peña, who highlighted the industrial expansion, new investments, and productive leadership that position Paraguay as an agro-industrial benchmark in the region, reaffirming the Paraguayan government's commitment to continue promoting the strengthening of the sector's capabilities.

Within the framework of Agrodinámica 2025, the Argentina-Brazil-Paraguay Industrial and Commercial Forum was held, opened by Minister Javier Giménez, who emphasized the role of agriculture in national economic development and presented the government's vision through the Paraguay 2X Plan, which projects doubling GDP in ten years. Vice Minister Rodrigo Maluff complemented this with a presentation of the Paraguay 2X strategy, focused on boosting productive development and generating new opportunities for employment and regional growth.
Technical visits and investment opportunities
On the second day of the mission, the Rediex team accompanied the technical visit organized by the mayor of Hohenau, Enrique Hahn, to South Atlantic Company SA, a Spanish-owned processing plant located in the Pradera Alta Industrial Park, dedicated to shrimp processing. With an initial investment of USD 35 million and a projected creation of more than 500 jobs, the plant will export 100% of its production to markets such as the United States, Canada, Europe, and China, with its inauguration planned for the first quarter of 2026.

A meeting was also held with Campos del Mañana (CDM Paraguay), the exclusive representative of agricultural machinery with over 15 years of experience in agricultural mechanization in the country. The company is currently seeking to diversify its product portfolio and explore partnerships with Japanese companies, which opens new opportunities for innovation and export.
Specialist Gustavo Rodríguez, when evaluating the participation of the MIC and Rediex in Agrodinámica, highlighted that “These experiences allow us to work closely with producers and enhance their competitiveness in global markets.”The institutional presence at the fair demonstrates the importance of coordinating efforts between the public and private sectors, strengthening the country's export capacity and projecting Paraguay as a strategic partner for regional development.
