Paraguay marks a historic step in its international positioning by participating for the first time with an official country stand at ExpoApras 2026, one of the largest supermarket events in Latin America. The fair takes place from April 14 to 16 in Pinhais, in the metropolitan region of Curitiba. The last edition brought together more than 450 brands, 60.000 visitors, and projected business exceeding R$1.100 billion.
The Paraguayan delegation, organized by the Paraguay-Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCPB), comprises eight export-oriented companies: Amandau, CMA Paraguay, Indega, GrillCo, Iris, Mazzei, Santa Margarita, and Top Food. Their offerings include food, beverages, personal hygiene products, and household goods, with high-turnover categories such as snacks, frozen foods, and yerba mate, as they seek to enter the competitive Brazilian market.

Inauguration of the Paraguayan pavilion
The pavilion's inauguration was attended by diplomatic and business leaders, including the Paraguayan Ambassador to Brazil, Juan Ángel Delgadillo, and the Consul General in Paraná, Ambassador María Amarilla. Those participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony included the Vice Governor of the State of Paraná, Darci Piana; the President of the Paraguay-Brazil Chamber of Commerce (CCPB), Fabio Fustagno; and the CCPB's General Manager, Carolina Vergara.
