What is it?
Country Brand It is an international competitiveness strategy to capitalize on a country's reputation in international markets. It has three dimensions: tourism, exports and foreign direct investment. It is a value proposition of what a country offers to the world, to its visitors, to its potential investors and in terms of goods and services. The term is born from the need of the business sectors and governments to generate their own identity in the face of international markets.
Paraguay It has been doing the job of positioning itself as a supplier of quality food, produced under sustainability criteria. The companies in the field are working to obtain certifications that endorse these processes. On the other hand, it has been working in new sectors in which it has shown great competitiveness: such as the creative industries, services, or sports. Paraguay has worked to maintain macroeconomic stability, to build a competitive tax system, and on a series of incentives to attract FDI. It also pays great attention to trade facilitation with the concept of continuous improvement of the business climate. All these processes make up the positioning strategy of the Paraguay brand, which ultimately is about how our country is perceived.
There are several definitions of the origin of the word Paraguay, but they all agree on something: water. Water is the most important thing for the planet and it is no coincidence that Paraguay is located in the heart of a continent that pumps in all its extension, the essential element for life itself. We keep it so present that we can even write it in a single letter, which is also a vowel in our Guarani language. That is the Y (In Guaraní = Water). This is where our main wealth comes from, essential for the seed that sprouts from the earth, even for the energy that is generated in our dams.
A sign that in its conjunction also functions as an invitation to unite Paraguay and the world.

How to apply:

Submit the documents together with the letter of commitment to use, also signed and sealed.
To apply for a product or company, the following documents are required:
- Copy of CI of the agent
- Copy of RUC / Certificate of Tax Compliance
- Copy of trademark registration (DINAPI)
- Product, presentation or brochure photographs
- Summary of awards, nominations, recognitions, certifications.
- Company and product description
To apply as an ambassador, the following documents are required:
- IC copy
- Copy of RUC / Certificate of Tax Compliance
- Copy of registration of works made by DINAPI (if any)
- Catalog of exhibited works
- Summary of awards, nominations, recognitions.
- Full academic and professional resume
