The artisanal alfajores company La Marsellesa celebrated the renewal, for the third consecutive time, of its license as ambassador of the Paraguay Country Brand, reaffirming its commitment to excellence, sustainability, and promoting the best of the country to the world.
The event was attended by La Marsellesa CEO Diego Bittar and the Country Brand team, comprised of Director Teresa Torres and Head of Management Mariana Caballero. Also present at Rediex were Belén González, Director of Investment Attraction, and Jimmy Kim, Senior Export Specialist.
On behalf of Vice Minister Javier Viveros, the authorities presented the certificate to Diego Bittar, who expressed, "We are proud to continue doing good work" and emphasized that the renewal of the Marca País license represents recognition of the efforts to "achieve something extraordinary."
He also emphasized institutional support: "We have the support of Rediex and the Ministry of Industry and Commerce to help our brand internationalize quickly." In this regard, he mentioned that the main target markets are Latin America and North America, and that the company already has FDA certification, which allows it to offer its products with greater competitiveness in the U.S. market.
Founded in 2016, La Marsellesa was born with the goal of producing alfajores of the highest quality, crafted with passion and creativity. It currently offers a portfolio of 18 flavors, including classic, chocolatey, specialty, boutique, and exotic varieties, each designed to explore the limits of flavor.
More than 80% of the ingredients used are domestically sourced, reflecting the company's commitment to local production. "Paraguayan raw materials are of the highest quality, and with creativity, we manage to transform them into internationally competitive products," stated the CEO.
With its brand philosophy, "We don't produce alfajores, we produce true experiences," La Marsellesa renews its commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the promotion of Paraguay worldwide. It pledges to continue working to ensure its products are ambassadors of flavor, quality, and national identity.
